Paul Kenward BA(Hons) LRSM LLCM CTABRSM, is originally from Abingdon (Oxfordshire) and enjoyed music from an early age, as his mother is a pianist and his sister an oboist. Following school, he joined the Royal Air Force as a musician and spent the next twenty-five years serving in the Regiment, Western and Central bands. During his RAF career he has performed at most of the best concert venues in the UK, and many abroad: in the USA, Canada, Hong Kong and across Europe including Cyprus and Hungary. In the last few years, he has completed his degree studies with the Open University and gained diplomas in conducting, performance and a certificate of teaching. Since leaving the RAF in 2005 he has been working as an instrumental tutor with the Lincolnshire Music Service, teaching clarinet, saxophone and flute. He lives in Sleaford with his wife and two young sons and also enjoys playing squash and motorcycling.
